I spend my days as an artworker providing distinctive artwork that enhances lives. Realizing this idea for property owners, architects, interior designers,
property managers, and developers includes:
- creative team building
- conceptual design
- presentations and approvals
- project and budget management
- coordination and scheduling
- art direction
- supervision of installations
- documentation of art program
With studies in Fine Art and a double major in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder, I dig deep into the past, as well as keep a keen eye on the present and future of art.
As an exhibition designer at two encyclopedic museums - The Indianapolis Museum of Art and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, I created environments in which art was exhibited. These exhibits ranged from every time period and varied in medium of art and culture, including the great Chinese painter, Tung Ch’i-cha’ang (1555-1636) “the Picasso of the Ming Dynasty,” to a contemporary exhibit of Claes Oldenburg’s process sketches and models of his 4 - 18’ tall Shuttlecocks on the museum grounds.
Now, for over a decade, my focus is finding the right art for great spaces that have been designed by others. I enjoy a wide variety of art projects, from working with Robert. A.M. Stern’s firm and Disney on a French Art Deco hotel in Tokyo, to providing trophy fish with Harley flames painted on them and surfboards for a funky Mexican cantina.
No project is too big or too small.
